Solo Road Trip - New Zealand

The Other Side Of Aotearoa

road trip journey New Zealand, images by Rick Hemi

Never Criticize Other Countries Until You've Had A Deep Look Inside Your Own Country First.

On my last recent road trip through New Zealand, I found the country paranoid and racist as ever. Kiwi born, I grew up with this type of bullshit from both Pakeha and Maori as a teenager. What is racism? We are born into it in one form or another with some fortunate enough controlling it. Eradicating racism is an impossible task. Different religious orders within certain countries fuels racist divisions among ethnic groups. Western woke racism is a complete waste of time and energy when two thirds of global population have been born into racist thinking and racist values. New Zealand racism is no different, I experienced it face on during this road trip which is no different than five decades ago.
Driving south from Northland towards Auckland, I decided to find a camping ground at Orewa beach before dark. At the reception office, I was greeted by a snotty Pakeha couple who both quickly agreed to themselves their camp ground had absolutely no space to erect a small tent.
Long hair and tattoos has a negative impact on some people in this liberal left country. Maybe if I looked Asian, or European, it may have been a different story - who cares, like water on a ducks back - keep on driving. After dark, isolated petrol stations, if open, is like being in the Colombian jungle. Payment for gasoline is done through a reinforced security window. Driving around after dark  looking for open corner stores throughout New Zealand is almost an impossible task. Sporadic aggravated robberies happen when
least expected. Just ask any corner store or takeaway owner how many times they've been held up and robbed of stuff. Parking at isolated hot spots, like Kerosene creek and Tawhai falls are usual locations with smashed glass splattered on the ground from previous cars that were robbed of stuff. If your vehicle is a sort after model, it won't be there when returning.

Years and years of solo overland travel offshore wakes you up. You actually use your brain rather than emotional thinking. For instance, in South Africa, I hid my valuable junk in the boot of cars during daylight hours, and had my eyes wide open when driving up to robots (traffic lights) at night. I've traveled extensively through South Africa numerous times using public transport, self-driving and hitching lifts without being mugged, robbed or losing stuff. Some arriving into S.A. are robbed of valuables within a week, because of having the wrong impressions the country wasn't at all that bad. There you go, too much google blissfulness. Since 2017, Google algorithms place negative global tourism data in the trash can. It doesn't create the positive outlook for tourism click bait.
Continuing further south, I had stopped at a campground near Hamilton. The owners at the reception gave me a grilling that was more like a CIA interrogation. Paranoia after dark seems to be the norm in this island paradise. In Motueka, I had ordered a side street breakfast, but the waitress abruptly said it was too late, but breakfast was being served to a tourist couple siting beside me, it was only 9am. How rude is that?
Driving through the lower North Island, I was following behind a 4WD towing a loaded trailer in a 70 kph zone. When on reaching the open 100 kph zone, I overtook the vehicle, and had noticed the driver giving me the fingers while passing. The classic "F*#*K You". What triggered this guy driving a Carters vehicle is unknown. I could've ignored it. Further down the road I decided to slow down waiting until his vehicle stopped behind me. Without any intent of road rage, I got out of the car asking the driver "why the fingers". He quickly wound up his window avoiding to answer. I tapped on his car window "Is this what Kiwis do when they're having a bad day", "Hey, give me the fingers now". Kiwi filmmaker Taika Waititi says “New Zealand is
racist as f—k” - there you go.

Traveling further south to Arrowtown, I walked into a gift shop that was selling different kinds of Maori carvings in bone and greenstone, but I was told by a staff worker "this is a tourist shop, there's nothing here you need". I replied, "you're selling Maori artwork, but Maoris can't browse or purchase here, but Chinese tourists can -what country am I in?". In Picton, at a trendy backpackers, I was told by Pakeha staff that "kiwis" weren't allowed to stay, because they didn't mix with foreign tourists". I asked "Isn't that racist?, I can speak more languages than you could probably imagine".
You can't make this stuff up. Was it the long hair and tattoos once again that triggered this local? Would it have been different if I was instead, a slim blond European chick? Was it because foreign tourists were missing stuff the following morning? Welcome to good old Kiwi politeness. Why do some New Zealanders act like this to other New Zealanders? Many Kiwis on this road journey exposed their true colors freely and openly. The above scenarios through the country are only a few examples of self tainted individual racism.
I was observing a pakeha dude at the Picton harbour lookout watching him approaching foreign tourists hassling them for cash handouts. Now, we all know New Zealanders receive unemployment and sickness benefits, all paid for by hard working Kiwi tax dollars. I found this embarrassing as a Kiwi to watch what I had never thought was possible in New Zealand. I couldn't resist asking him if he was begging from foreigners because he ran out of benefit money, or found it more lucrative to beg from tourists rather than finding a job. This is the saddest image I saw in New Zealand during this road journey. It was never like this! What happened to New Zealand?
Honestly, as a Kiwi, I find New Zealanders a skin-deep nation with dreaded "isolated island syndrome", and fully loaded with woke paranoia day or night. Everything looks good on the outside of the bubble, but digging under that Kiwi skin, one finds the same cobwebs as it always has been with racist values no matter the skin color.
I have found more positive interaction with people traveling outside New Zealand through the continents, not saying that all Kiwis have personal complex issues. There's no excuse compared to people in other countries living on the edge in the Real World. It will be interesting on the next journey through New Zealand to
see what's changed with the Kiwi mindset in general. Maybe the Covid plandemic has created a more positive down to earth vibe with next to no foreign tourists clogging highways without ripoff tourist prices, but then maybe not. Of late, suicide rates in New Zealand have skyrocketed through the roof. Why the sudden increase in suicides especially with the Gen Z generation? The generation that has everything dished out to them on a plate with you know - that narcissistic entitlement mentality.
Gen Z mental illnesses is broad as it is wide. Woke generation think syndrome, upbringing, recreational drugs, and social media addiction are major issues in the western world.
The primary interest people pursue today, is to be liked and accepted - How sick is that?
As a teen, I certainly didn't suffer from mental illness or suicidal tendencies from a jug cord, a dog collar, or a manuka stick wrapped around my legs leaving blue black stripes. I received a good thrashing because I probably deserved it. Did it make me into a monster to do the same to others? The total opposite. I was already earning a working wage and living out on my own at 17. Being officially labeled at high school as a half cast Maori, I had no escape and was forced to Maori studies, something I totally resented.

From a young age chopping firewood, digging and planting potato patches, cutting hedges, mowing lawns, and trimming trees was normal. Today, if the internet cuts off, the Gen Z entitlement generation freaks right out.

This European 2 door coupe had clocked up over 4500 km through NZ on this particular road trip journey. The RCZ has a top speed of 275 kph, well above Kiwi speed limits which are heavily controlled and enforced. Kiwis driving fast cars usually attach one or two speed radars on their vehicles to avoid speeding tickets. To avoid incrimination by law enforcement, one should totally avoid posting images of actual triple digit speedo readouts online in any country, unless in the
Sahara, Atacama desert, Bolivian Salar, Sinai or in Saudi. My fastest top speed ever was driving a friends Ferrari @320 kph on the German autobahn which at the time had no speed limit.

It's difficult beating a road trip through New Zealand. Highway changing landscape on every bend through the country.

Roast lamb, lamb chops, lamb burgers, cold lamb sandwiches - who cares, Kiwi lamb has you covered if you can afford it.

The surface of New Zealand is something between the woke crowd of liberalism, open gender lifestyle equality and the religion of peace. Of late, anti-racism and anti-Islamaphobia has unified the country into dream state blissfulness. Israel Bad, Orange Man Bad, Tibet Bad, Conservative Bad. UN Good, WHO Good, IMF Good, China Good - Got it? New Zealand MSM is as biased liberal left as it gets. Like other Western MSM offshore, they are generally the enemy of the people siding with whatever the government tells them say. One notices when returning back to this homeland every four years or so, of how sunk, how dumb downed the population has become. Almost everyone has accumulated mountains of debt up to their necks, thirty year mortgage borrowing is the norm, that's if one can actually find a home to purchase, meth cooking cultivation and the selling of meth and cannabis for profit gain is rampant, gangland crime is alive and well. Affordable homes and healthy food are things of the past. Poverty is extremely embarrassing for a nation of just five million. The infiltration of the CCP government have their hands deep inside Kiwi institutions and government. New Zealand was sold out decades ago, and the Kiwis did it themselves for greed and profit. One has to ask why the increase of 300 Mandarin teachers in to New Zealand shores? What, kiwi kids need to learn Mandarin all of a sudden instead of English? Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch Confucius Institutes are part and parcel of the expanded network of Chinese state organizations overseas. Confucius institutes influence the choices and loyalties of its targets, overcoming negative perceptions to promote positive perceptional propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party offshore. Tibet was invaded, Hong Kong failed, Taiwan is next. New Zealand has zero chance lying in bed with the CCP. New Zealand's dependency with China is the main thread keeping the country afloat. For a small nation, Kiwis certainly have a methamphetamine problem. The amount of meth drug busts shows how popular and addictive meth is in Aotearoa, with cannabis and cocaine following close behind. The NZ govt was warned about meth heading to Kiwi shores by Hawaiian FBI agents in 2004, but ignored the warnings until it was too late. NZ already had the highest drug abuse rates in the world in 2003. The following links are only the tip of the iceberg - Meth bust one : meth bust two : meth bust three : meth bust four : opium bust five : ecstasy bust six : meth bust seven : cocaine bust eight : meth bust nine : meth bust ten : meth bust eleven New Zealand is the country of profit for international drug couriers and drug mules: cocaine bust : cocaine/meth bust : meth bust : cocaine bust

New Zealand voices loudly of its clean green pristine beauty. Sorry far from it. In 2017, travelers flying in and out New Zealand emitted 3.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide - follow the money. New upcoming eco aviation taxes for short, medium and long haul flights in and out of NZ isn't about clean energy. All jets use Jet A-1 fuel (kerosene) whether liked or not. Why not just ban commercial jets from NZ skies instead - follow the money. NZ needs every red cent it can get. Ohh the irony of it all, Clean Green NZ uses 100 leaded Avgas for crop dusting agri fertilizer throughout the country on farms. Let's not forget about all those Kiwi planes buzzing around on leaded Avgas for promotional tourism, glider towing, and by the Dept. of Conservation (DOC). But, NZ is clean green. How Dare You say such things?
How do you pollute an entire country beyond repair? Simple, create farming blocks, chop down spray and kill-off native bushland, use 100
octane leaded Avgas planes and choppers to constantly napalm the land with fertilizers for five decades, allow stock to roam pissing and dropping their loads in waterways, rivers, marshland, wetlands creeks and streams. Runoff from stock, and fertilizers eventually ends up wherever there's water flowing. Since the 1970's, the collective damage to the eco systems of lakes, rivers, streams and drinking water through the country is now beyond repair, and even if it was repairable, it would take till 2150 to bring back the country's "clean green" image as it was in the 1960s. Kiwis not only require leaded Avgas to survive as an exporting nation - they're addicted to using leaded Avgas in more ways than one and don't even know it. I personally can't see electric cars, trucks, or electric powered planes replacing the countries entire fleet of diesel, gasoline and Avgas engines. Although NZ has sustainable coal supplies, coal is imported from Indonesia. One hasn't been able to drink water from streams and rivers since the 80's due to dirty dairying run-off. And to top it all off, most dairy products, including beef and sheep are exported offshore. So much for a country advertising themselves as pro climate changers. NZ exports vast quantities of product which polluted the country's artesian springs and waterways in the first place, and then ships the same product around the globe using diesel powered cargo ships, and kerosene fueled cargo planes polluting the planet - What? Is there an Eco aviation tax on NZ products shipped off shore? I don't think so. Meanwhile, the NZ government have no choice but to increase more lucrative trade deals with China without worrying about human rights violations, the ongoing rape torture funded prisons, and continued land grabs by their largest trading export/import buddy - China. Iran is a close second, during the 1980s Iran was one of New Zealand’s top five export markets. Iranian oil imports were more important than the atrocities by the Islamic regime. New Zealand imports 97% of its oil - The life blood of its economy to survive, so much for that"clean green" propaganda rhetoric. It's the continuation of the big lie. Without the importation of petroleum products, New Zealand won't survive as a nation, it will become a Southern Pacific Cuba controlled by China with Kiwi pesos. Below, coal transported by Kiwi Rail from the west coast to Lyttelton harbour for global export.

News in NZ about a missing cat is breaking news - what a joke. New Zealand made products are more rare than finding alluvial gold in rivers, and please don't dare speak out against Islam or question the Koran in New Zealand, by crikey you'll be banished to some deserted little frozen island below the roaring forties gridline. This excludes New Zealand's best trading buddy the CCP. The average woke Kiwi island lifestyle mentality has zero education
on Bolshevik, or Marxist Frankfurt school indoctrination that infiltrated in to the west. Kiwis wouldn't have a clue, or give two hoots about historical data that's now bearing its fruit inside their own backyard. The problem is, original bloodline born Kiwis will end
up becoming just like their European cousins. When the clash of liberal LGBT freedom, feminism and Islam collide head-on together - Then what? It's a ticking time bomb that even the strongest of liberals, their handlers, and their MSM don't want to talk about - Just keep quiet and hope everything pans out rosie dori Yes? There are 70+ countries that ban LGBT open liberal lifestyles. I think most with IQ already know what countries ban gay freedom blissfulness.
China will keep its heavy hand on NZ as a food stock trading nation. China will continue exporting ship loads of cheap wing bling "Made in China" junk to the southern seas. Mega large retail chain stores like the Warehouse, Mitre 10, Bunnings, Briscoes, etc all have the same smell
when walking into them - You got it, that irritating aroma fragrance from Chinese petroleum plastic made products that gets right up your nose.
China will eventually fully control the nation just like Tibet and Hong Kong without even signing a lease agreement ratifying it - China's "Southern Pacific Great Belt Islands". The Aussies are in the same scenario.

New Zealand is well known for its rugged coastlines, diverse landscapes, and physical beauty, but there's one natural icon that really stands out from everything else. A historic native Kauri tree in Northland, named Tāne Mahuta located in the Waipoua Forest. Tāne is estimated to be approximately 2000 years old, and is said to be the largest tree
in existence within the Southern Hemisphere. This was one of the very few lucky Kauri trees that didn't get axed.

New Zealand is still a good country for full on road trips, and wilderness freedom, but forget about open conversations with Kiwis, who would rather prefer to keep their true thoughts buried under the rug. Liberal NZ MSM controls the airwaves and media platforms. The education system, especially universities are wokeness heating ovens. Use earplugs at 6pm, NZ news has a habit of streaming persuasive news for the liberal mindset. Covid was a warning call card for New Zealand, the country is caught between tectonic plates and the ocean. The overflow of international tourism was a backbone of the country's revenue, now wiped out. Major layoffs, empty hotels, and deserted tourist hotspots will only survive by dropping prices that are affordable to average New Zealanders. Small homegrown business may prosper, although government dole cheques and mounting debt continues to ravish the country. Kiwis may have their country to themselves, but the spoils of massive offshore tourism revenue has all but vanished.

kiwi overland road trip New Zealand, southern dusk, image by Rick Hemi

The big question is, will the NZ Government borrow more offshore loans accumulating even more debt, and tap into pension funds like Kiwi Saver, and double dip, draining personal bank accounts to save a nation that was already sold out in the first place? Only time will tell, the Kiwi national debt is mounting at an alarming rate never seen before in the country's history 2021-2024 Kiwi debt forecast 200+ billion dollars and counting.

Tongariro national park is the great outdoor wild side of the north island. During the winter months the silly season begins with skiers and snowboarders flocking to various ski hubs scattered around mount Ruapehu. In summer, the region is famous for hiking, trekking, and cooling off at hot spots like Tawhai falls. Like anywhere else through the country, parking vehicles at isolated regions are vulnerable for being robbed of suff. One can be also unfortunate to return to no vehicle depending on the make and model. Tawhai falls is only a few minutes walk from the road, but it doesn't stop professional thieves doing their thing. It's estimated that a vehicle is vandalized, robbed, or taken every 21 minutes in NZ.

Aotearoa's physical landscape beauty is what makes the country so appealing to foreign visitors. The simple laid back
kiwi lifestyle hasn't changed much through time. The 1/4 acre block with a fixable dwelling is every kiwi's dream. What has changed drastically through the last two decades, is New Zealand's massive meth, gangland, crime and poverty problem. One can only
place direct blame on bad governing, and pointing the finger at New Zealander's themselves to wake up out of their dream sleep coma. The Clean Green Nation isn't that clean!

solo overland road trip journey New Zealand, north cape to stewart island, images by Rick Hemi

From dawn to dusk, New Zealand's natural physical landscape beauty is hard to beat. Isolated unspoiled coastal shorelines are plentiful with rugged mountain wilderness only a stones throw away in any direction. Night skies are unpolluted, and the freedom to drive through the country still remains a positive bonus.

Kiwi New Zealand lamb, the great deception of food costs in New Zealand, image by Rick Hemi

Oct 2021 update: second grade non-export legs of lamb @3kg costs $62 NZ each.

Shopping for food supplies in New Zealand will quickly drain your wallet faster than lightning. It's nothing unusual to spend 200 bucks and walk out with two flimsy plastic bags of stuff. Food supermarkets in Aotearoa are owned by mafia corporates doing what they're good at - earning huge profit margins with ripoff prices. No wonder the theft of sheep and cattle rustling throughout the country has been an ongoing problem for decades! In 2021, nothing adds up. First grade quality Kiwi lamb exported to the UK only has a customer retail price of $11 NZ per kilo. Imagine the cost in freight, and the mark up value to earn a healthy profit selling Kiwi lamb half way around the planet. It certainly isn't the Poms getting ripped off, it's the average Kiwi who now buys goat meat instead, or goes totally rouge becoming full on vegans. Wow, liberal woke vegan Kiwis, now that's dangerous. Denmark is a classic example, which most who have been there know the relatively high cost of imported food outside the EU block. Funny enough, strolling through a large supermarket, I found New Zealand bone legs of lamb for under 10NZD each. I couldn't believe it, I filled the trolly up packed with frozen 1st grade quality export NZ lamb. At the time, Kiwi second grade legs of lamb in NZ were selling for double the price. Got It?

solo road journey through New Zealand, self-driving road trip through New Zealand, images by Rick Hemi

Above, I normally don't take images of food I'm consuming offshore, but here's a couple of quick snaps of New Zealand exported food products I had purchased in South East Asia for under 1/3rd of the NZ retail cost. Now don't tell me Kiwis aren't being ripped-off, because they are. Just the shipping, import tax, and markup of theses products before retail prices are established exposes how much cheaper New Zealand food is compared to the retail food cost in New Zealand.

The land of the long white cloud. It could be overcast in the morning with clear skies at dusk, or waking up to fresh powder snow depending where you are. The country certainly has plenty of wind, some of it prevailing directly from the Beehive. Keeping updated on weather conditions is required when driving through country in winter.

Want to feel some real wind? any northwester or cold southerly in central Wellington from June to September will do it.

Below, an image captured on the rugged east coast of the north island. The selling of Auckland housing to Chinese investors offshore reached 60% in 2016. Multiply that through the country, and one will understand why there's a housing crises. New Zealanders have sold themselves out for profit without a care in the world for decades. Although the Arden government has clamped down on the selling of land and real estate to non-residents, the damage has already been done.
It wasn't unusual for Chinese nationals arriving into New Zealand with literally suitcases full of cash, or
smuggled goods shipped in by container to purchase land, houses, luxury items and laundering money through shell companies based in New Zealand.

solo travel New Zealand, Aotearoa, rugged east coast, image by Rick Hemi

In history, milking any country selling it off till the last drop has had dire consequences to positive population prosperity. In general, Kiwis may be well aware acknowledging this since the housing crisis from the 1990s, but most are in complete denial if it doesn't directly affect their lifestyle. The poverty line surviving from week to week on govt. dole cheques and free food give-aways will only increase if government continue down the path of collective debt burden. Kicking the can further down the road began in the 70s. In the volatile world we live in today, all it takes is a full on property market crash to cause banks to crash to cripple a country down on its knees. New Zealand is at these crossroads with little or no room to manoeuvre. There's no can to kick down the highway anymore.
The housing bubble has reached its ceiling limits riddled sky high with mortgage debt. No one can move because it's totally unaffordable, while others are
struggling to pay rent, or resort to living in garages or cars.

NZ Top Of The World - for unaffordable housing...
"It’s not just that housing is expensive, we are also a low wage economy which is brought about by a poor education system, systemic welfare ingrained in a large sector of our society plus very low productivity, So in general we’re dumb, lazy and unmotivated ...... But we want flash houses".

A Kiwi road trip isn't complete unless one has been across to Stewart Island. Famous for its white tail deer, freedom fishing and mutton birds. The Rakiura hiking track takes approximately three days to complete. I enjoyed visiting Stewart Island, but one can visibly see D.O.C. has their hands on it.

Catching Paua isn't difficult, but the locations where paua is plentiful is another story. This 2 day catch was minced up and made into fritters. Getting caught with under size Paua or having more than the daily limit results in hefty fines. Fishery departmental staff are like the CIA, they spy and watch along coastal shorelines from distance and then pounce on their victims at random.

Catching eels in most rivers bordering dairy farms is non-existent for the last three decades. Nitrate run-off including cow dung from dairy farms has killed-off aqua life in rivers. The above eels were caught on the West Coast South Island in an isolated river well away from dirty dairying locations. Freshly caught silver belly eels are smoked using Manuka leaves.

New Zealand is the most deforested nation on the planet. Approximately 1.6 million hectares of Kauri forest alone was logged, and shipped to the mother land - the UK during a short time period. The leftovers of the 1st generation native trees is only a spec of what used to be a country completely covered in native trees only one hundred plus years ago.
Like other Kiwis living in rural regions, I had planted thousands of different native seedlings, including Kauri as part of a native bush block while living there during a short time period before departing offshore once again.

Lake Taupo's water catchment is vast, and like other lakes through the country the lake is nitrate sensitive prone. Annually, 1360 tonnes of nitrogen emissions entered into the lake, of which 510 tonnes was directly from farmland. Now with an annual discharge reduction of 170 tonnes of nitrate, the clarity and water quality to 2001 levels will be reached by 2080. So, approximately 70 years from now lake Taupo's water quality will be at 2001 nitrate levels. Got it?

Road Trip NZ - Kiwis

solo overland kiwi road trip through Aoteaora, Kiwis, New Zealanders, images by Rick Hemi

Pushing away politics, most Kiwis enjoy living out their personal lifestyles the way they see fit. Although the 1/4 acre dream has now become somewhat unaffordable, the majority of New Zealanders still prefer owning their own properties rather than paying tenant rent. Kiwis in general have out-going personalities, chit-chatting about what's on their mind. Many foreigners from all walks of life around the planet who travel through the country for the first time do end up migrating to NZ. The great escape from wherever they're escaping from.

Pipis are delicious raw or cooked. Years ago, one could fossick around on most beaches collecting buckets of pipis without a care in the world. Today, with all the different regional council and local Iwi regulations, including contamination issues with sewage and agriculture farm run-off, one should first check if pipis are legal to take and actually safe to eat. Road Trip NZ - Kiw Autos

A good automotive workshop is a busy clustered workshop full of different vehicles. New Zealand still has a treasure trove through the country of nostalgic car garages filled with vintage autos. The above garage was located in the North Island.

Purchasing used vehicles in New Zealand is simple. Most Kiwis browse through Trade Me looking for bargains. It's the largest auction based website in the country selling anything from used bathtubs to fixed wing planes.

The days of gasoline fed engines are done and dusted in Aotearoa. Like sheep, the NZ pro WEF Socialist government are full steam ahead to eliminate gasoline powered vehicles ASAP. Instead, they want to import BEV/EV vehicles replacing octane fueled engines. China and New Zealand are best buddies when it comes to trade. The Great Wall Motor Company already has its eyes focused on the Australian Kiwi automotive market. By 2032, little New Zealand will become flooded with Chinese electric vehicles floating through the landscape. Gas guzzling V8's will become a thing of the past. Owners of yank tanks in the near future will only be able to use their autos as bed sofas parked up on blocks perched in back yards. From 2021 onward, Kiwis running around in gasoline and diesel vehicles will be hit hard with added tax surcharges. Registration, warrant fees and fuel will increase to the point of unaffordability. By 2040, New Zealand may run out of space for all those Chinese wing bling made EV toxic batteries. The logic of a free carbon footprint in New Zealand is nothing more than a false pipe dream. The country has more than enough volcanic energy releasing Co2 pollutants through the atmosphere. New Zealand could easily become the next Monserrat or Canary Islands which will affect 80% of the population: NZ Co2 2032 Agenda : Great Wall China EV NZ : Taupo/Maroa/Whakamaru calderas : Auckland's volcanic minefield : Volcanic Co2
Global Agenda 2030 has little to do with Climate Change. It's all about controlling global populations enforcing the planet's population into submission back to the stone age. Follow the money - the Bankers. Rich Western countries will feel the brunt of what the Real World has been used to for centuries leading up to 2030 aka, the great reset, aka NWO. New Zealand has been a long time supporter with the WEF. Ex PM Helen Clarke has been a stanch advocate of Klaus Schwab, now a high top UN advisor. NZ was already listed in the Club of Rome 1970s Global Agenda, as one of four countries listed as "new developed nations". along with Australia, South Africa and Israel.
Jacinda Ardern is only following the Club of Rome global nation agenda protocols under the umbrella, the larger global body of spooks enriching themselves in greed, power and control i.e. UN, WEF, Trilateral Commission, World Bank, Bank of International Settlements, WHO, Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations, the Federal Reserve, Vatican, Bohemian Club, UNESCO, NATO, Global Banking Cartels etc. If Swiss Banks could bleed, Switzerland's footpaths would be drenched in blood money, gold, art and jewels. The Globalist Network are always two steps ahead in lockstep. They self-create the chaos, fund both sides of chaos, create global upheavals, and then offer crumbs out of the ashes under the false disguise of being the good fellas - Got It?  You will eat bugs, own nothing, and drive Chinese EV junk and like it. Nicole Kidman has you covered, a propagandist 2030 Agenda puppet.
EV is one of the biggest global scams since the 69 moon landing i.e. Gasoline pickup truck versus EV pickup truck with only one fill stop towing the same weight.

Those who believe climate change propaganda require a reality check.

One thing New Zealand isn't lacking are nostalgic auto and choppers. Instead of the usual tourist heli-flights viewing mountain ranges and cityscapes, ask the pilot to fly where large dairy herds are situated and view the mess. It's what one doesn't see from roadsides driving through the country that will shock most. Just ask any chopper pilot for verification.
Update - NZ gasoline prices hit $3.07 a litre Feb 2022

Road Trip NZ - Kiwi Birds

Photographing NZ native birds in the wild requires some form of photo gear - Not junkie smart phone cameras!

Aotearoa New Zealand road trip, kiwi birdlife, images by Rick Hemi

New Zealand has limited birdlife compared to other countries like South Africa and India. New Zealanders are prohibited to privately keep native birds or breed native birds. Instead, planting nectar producing trees will eventually draw native birds like Tui, Bellbird, and Wood Pigeon. Creating a feeder using a mix of raw sugar and water will attract Tui and Bellbirds. Feeders should be hung somewhere where domestic cats have zero chance to prey on birds.

Below, a Tui randomly captured in Totara clad bushland using a classic manual focus Nikkor 400mm f/3.5 AIS lens.

Kiwi birdlife through New Zealand can be seen along the foot hills, plains and coastal regions. The call of Bellbird and Tui begins at dawn. Capturing images of Twi and Bellbirds eating Totara berries isn't easy. Most of these captures were taken within secluded forest parks during the manifestation period when Totara berries ripen.

During this road trip through NZ, I wasn't at all surprised of seeing foreign tourists taking more narcissistic selfies of themselves with smart phone cameras. Imagine flying all that air milage to the bottom of the south pacific to capture more selfie snaps than anything else. This is the sick crazy world we live in today.

In total, 6.5 kilos in weight. I've traveled overland to extreme regions offshore using the same equipment. I could have never imagined that I'd be using an old classic 800 5.6 AIS lens that was first introduced in '86. The lens works, it captures the shots. I could never become a flight baby, who only use junky smart phones to capture images when offshore.

The first thing one notices when hiking through national parks, is how dead silent they all even before any 1080 drop occurs. NZ national parks have been napalmed with 1080 poison killing everything off for six plus decades - That's why 1080 poison helicopter drops by DOC (dept of conservation) has been an ongoing struggle with rodents, animals and Kiwi citizens since the 1980s. Personally, 1080 is mafia driven, a cash cow enabling DOC and regional councils power, profit and authority with a win win hands down to do what ever they please in their own interests. An example was presented to DOC of a large private native bushland property at the tip of the South Island. The owners had set up an eradication program exterminating rodents using small crews on the ground. It only took a few years to wipe out the rodent count numbers down to nothing. Of course DOC didn't want to hear nothing about it. DOC 1080 poison coverups exposed : DOC 1080 drop Auckland water supply : DOC 1080 drop Coromandel water supply There are obvious reasons why DOC keeps 1080 poison dropping by the ton loads from the sky - follow the money. Orillion NZ has a 50% stake in the 1080 poison industry. Its glossy website like those of DOC and Fontera NZ are all identical presenting pure blissfulness indoctrination therapy to their readers.

No, this isn't a nuke fall out clean up operation, or a zombie Netflix movie - This is clean green New Zealand.

Graf brothers 1080 poison doco 1 : Graf brothers 1080 poison doco 2 : NZ the poisoned nation

Dropping Compound 1080 poison through New Zealand national parks began in the 1950s. Compound 1080 kills off everything i.e. deer, birds, dogs, cats, pigs, cattle, goats, horses, fish, marine, rodents, and anything that eats carcasses that have died from 1080 i.e. birds, hawks, pigs.
One historical deep hidden file coverup was during a Compound 1080 drop along the Rimutaka foothills near Featherston. The 1080 poison that was released from choppers had "accidentally" entered the fresh stream water supply of that township. The large amount of miscarriages through that particular time period was way above the roof for a small community. Of course there's no proof that 1080 causes miscarriages. Imagine if scientific research data proves 1080 poison does cause miscarriages. It would end 1080 poison aerial drops through the country in an instance.
The Tull Chemical Company in Oxford, Alabama USA is the only legal
producer of Compound 1080. 90% of 1080 poison is exported to New Zealand. Compound 1080 was also found in original Tull canisters in Iraq in 2004.
Clean green New Zealand hidden secrets. In the late 1940s, the dumping of tonnes of toxic chemicals in to the Kermadec Trench after World War 11 is not a myth. The unused backup stock pile of chemical agents in drums (Blister, choking & blood agents) shipped in by the Americans during the battle of the southern Pacific were dumped in the Kermadec trench.

road trip Aotearoa New-Zealand, bottled artesian aquifer water booming in New-Zealand, image-by-Rick-Hemi

Kiwi water to china one : kiwi water to china two : kiwi water to china three : kiwi water rate charge four

Just like how the greedy intensive dairy farming industry polluted New Zealand's rivers and streams over a short time period - New Zealand's artesian aquifers are being sucked dry for profit gain and will follow the same fatal mistake. It's called flogging a dead horse, or milking a cow to the last drop. When New Zealand's clean water runs on empty, the Chinese will just move elsewhere, like further south crushing up icebergs and ship it back to mainland China.
New Zealand has issues with its
drinking water supplies. It's only taken four decades to pollute the country's pristine rivers and creeks. Nitrate fertilisers, dirty dairy runoff, including 1080 poison are three major players for what has now become a catastrophic problem that has no quick fix solution. New Zealand's ecosystem has not been destroyed by climate change voiced by the parrot media, it has been destroyed by the greed of intensive dairy farming, constant
aerial spraying of agri fertilisers, Radiata forestry erosion and pollution, and decades of millions of tonnes of 1080 poison aerial drops.

Rick Hemi images

A century ago NZ streams and rivers were pristine clean, in the late 60's one could easily catch snapper from the shoreline.

Dairy farm irrigators is something you can't ignore on any road journey through NZ, because they're hundreds of metres long in length seen scattered along the flatlands. It's not only the massive metric tonnage volume of water being sucked from artesian wells and rivers. It's the fertiliser and runoff from ghost farms and dairy herds entering into artesian aquifers, creeks, streams, wetlands and rivers. Mafia giant Fontera NZ uses ghost farms to get rid of heavy nitrate waste (cow urine & cleaning compounds). The most noticeable difference before dirty dairy became a cash cow, is the total disappearance of fresh water crawlies, tadpoles, and eels from creeks and streams. As a kid, I used to go eeling down at any river and catch as many eels one could imagine - Forget about that today!
There are no eels, or anything else existing in these same rivers, I've tried at the same locations without success. Fishing along the shorelines of New Zealand during the 60s and 70s, one could easily catch snapper. Forget about that today. Rivers filled with Agri compounds and dairy runoff entering oceans has pushed fish stocks further out to sea.New Zealand's fresh water is now past the point of vulnerable. Even high concentrations of lead in drinking water has been a coverup for years. Politicians will no doubt sing like positive puppets that they are, but the export of dairy product must continue at all costs until all clean water disappears.

By 2030, New Zealand will have to extract and tow icebergs from Antarctica for drinking water. Behind New Zealand's "100% Pure Image" lies the dirty truth.

Above image snaps during the last road trip through the country. Dairy irrigators spanning hundreds of metres along a stretch of highway pumping out endless metric tonnes of water. Kiwi bankers and dairy farmers had had a joint TV commercial that irritated the average New Zealander. The add was aired non-stop on prime time TV during six o'clock news breaks. It went like this, a dairy farmer while slouching in his brand new fishing boat sipping on a beer that was hooked up to a brand new 4WD on his dairy farm says "Well I got the farm mortgage paid off".

If sea lions aren't in the water chasing after something or feeding on fish you'll find them scattered along rugged shorelines napping amongst seaweed or parked up near rocks. Getting to close to sea lions should be avoided unless you're wanting to experience painful bites.

Road Trip NZ - Night Sky

New Zealand main stream media is like any other liberal left media around the planet. Like parrots, they must keep up with each other on air pollution levels around the country. The problem with their hype, is they never mention NZ is pummelled with strong southerly and north wester gales that blow the smithereens out of any "pollution" directly out to sea. NZ MSM and the Green party somehow think New Zealand's landmass, industry and population is the same size of Australia.
The above image was captured just north of wellington showing clear visible unpolluted skies. The only pollution visible is

Road Trip NZ - Land Of Polluted Rivers

solo travel New Zealand, self-drive road trip Aotearoa, river pollution, image by Rick Hemi

Wairienga falls (bridal veil falls) once upon a time had clear pristine waters flowing over the 55 foot edge, one could even drink from it. Today, Wairienga falls is nothing but a runoff stream full of Agri/dairy pollution that's even unsafe to swim in. This is New Zealand, a country that advertises itself as pristine clean and green... The Big Lie. Sept 2021 Update: four of five New Zealand urban rivers are ecological impaired and polluted.

overland road trip Aotearoa New Zealand, Tui brewery Est 1889, image by Rick Hemi

There's limited data of when Tui brewery stopped using water directly from the Mangatainoka river for their ales due to dirty dairy runoff and sewage overspill, but Tui 's advertising campaign using slim chicks (in another river) was a big success, a part from Kiwi feminists - who should avoid travel to the Middle East. Tui/DB brewery is no longer Kiwi owned, it was sold to Heiniken International in 2012, including other NZ beer brands (Monteiths, Redwood Cider). Fonterra currently holds consents to permit various discharges from their regional plant to release condensate (liquids) either directly into the Mangatainoka river, and on farmland. You cannot clean up rivers by re-polluting the same rivers with condensate liquids. New Zealand drinking water woes.

New Zealand, a country filled with nature walkways and mountainous hikes. The local tourism industry was in full swing non-stop up until April 2020. Kiwis never imagined that their main source of revenue would crash and burn overnight. Like other countries, local tourism is filling the gap in what has been lost, although it will never match or surpass as it was before the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic.

Scenic highways are found through some parts of the country. The central and east coast of the north island and the rugged west coast of the south island is where one can still experience driving on winding roads clad with native bushland without a cow herd in sight.

Below, the double standard of New Zealand politics, trade and human rights is out right embarrassing. On one hand, the Christchurch massacre by a "right wing Australian supremacist" shocked Kiwis to the bone, while in China, human rights violations of different minority groups imprisoned, tortured and raped is blindly ignored. NZ trade must go on, it doesn't matter the amount of atrocities, accumulated death rate, or how many violations are exposed. New Zealand is in bed with China and remains totally silent. Eighty percent of New Zealand lumber is exported to China. No wonder there's a timber shortage for housing in New Zealand.

solo overland road journey New Zealand, kiwi lumber exports, image by Rick Hemi

As a native born half cast Maori, have I kicked New Zealand in the guts? Collective data doesn't lie. New Zealand has indeed sold itself out to China for the sake of profit gain without acknowledging the impacts further down the road that will have dire consequences for all New Zealanders. It's only taken five decades to destroy the countries environment. The repercussions in the future will become severe if the brake pedal isn't pushed to the floor.
The other side of New Zealand isn't blissful as one imagines - it's horrific. The country has lost its integrity, its self-ownership and control - follow the money.

July 2022 - New Zealand ranked second to worst country in the world for expats - InterNations

July 2022 - New Zealand is a warning case example. An island nation, the country came all out to keep the virus out of the country. Vigorous quarantine protocols were implemented on anyone infected. NZ never got the benefit of natural infection moving through the population. The New Zealand population were all highly vaccinated. The WEF Prime Minister - Jacinda Ardern was full on "let's go vaccinate the entire population with Pfizer juice." With no prior natural immunity, highly vaccinated and isolated, New Zealand has one of the worst global attack rates in morbidity and mortality rates in 2022. Unfortunately, the mRNA vaccine doesn't work. Firm data shows the highly vaccinated are being repeatedly infected and hospitalized and dying. The mRNA vaccine weakens a person's natural immune system to fully function. WEF NZ PM Jacinda Ardern says "We Are Your Single Source Of Truth", how ironic, the Chinese Government, and other Socialist Marxist Regimes say exactly the same words.

The grass may be greener in New Zealand, but the cost of living is horrendously expensive. Housing is unaffordable, renting homes will suck approximately 55% of income, and food costs will drain whatever is left. Only those with stacks of saved up cash, or those having offshore paid salaries migrating to New Zealand will sustain living expenses. One only requires to ask the average working Kiwi to verify the above. No wonder there's a huge exodus out of New Zealand.

Below, to no surprise, I bought a kilo of first grade quality export NZ red delicious apples for under 1/3rd of the price just recently in Asia. Now tell me how can that be when shipping logistic costs, import tax and retail mark up are added? Kiwi's have been ripped off with higher retail prices with their own produced products for decades.
